We were able to get early check-in. On check-in, we were offered a room on a higher floor at a cost 50% more than the price we booked, so we declined that. This resulted in taking a room on the 1st floor, which was noisy. (See what we didn't like...) We agreed that the early check-in was not a bad trade-off for hearing the noise from outside. The room was comfortable and very spacious.

Buenos Aires, the dynamic capital of Argentina, enchants visitors with its blend of European elegance and Latin American flair. The city's picturesque landscapes, including iconic landmarks like Caminito street and Recoleta Cemetery, serve as a stunning backdrop for exploration. Culinary enthusiasts rejoice in the diverse gastronomic scene, offering everything from succulent steaks to flavorful empanadas, with options for healthier dining also available. However, the city's allure comes at a cost, as living expenses and shopping can be pricey compared to Brazilian standards. I live in La Plata so I come to Buenos Aires regularly for work and leisure, usually for a day but this time I came with a family member visting, we had two whole days in BA and found plenty to do.
It is fairly simple to get around Buenos Aires provided you can buy a Sube and know how to laod it with cash. This can be used on the Subte (subway), trains and buses with minimal fuss.

Buenos Aires it is a spectacular city to visit.
Buenos Aires it is a spectacular city to visit. You should be careful at night, but it is pretty safe depending on where you stay. There are plenty of restaurants and shows and people is very helpful and attentive. To shop is great but now a bit expensive, try to ask on different places before buying. Anyway, a great place to visit, very nice. Florida Garden a very good restaurant and not expensive, (Ariel at the terrace was wonderful) its situated in "Florida" Street at downtown Buenos Aires (they call it "microcentro"), Puerto Madero is amazing, "Cabana Las Lilas" is an excellent restaurant, good value for the price.

Although there are not many outstanding tourist attractions,...
Although there are not many outstanding tourist attractions, Buenos Aires is an enjoyable city in itself. Especially in the San Telmo area, just being here on the weekends is a pleasure. In the end, I stayed here for 5 nights.
The hotel is excellent and very well located. This is an excellent choice to visit Buenos aires. The room was wide, clean and well equipped. The location is excellent. The breakfast is good and variated. Those are things it has in common with other 4.5-5 start hotels. There is however a plus in this hotel that should be highlighted: The staff service. I felt that every employed in the Hotel, either in the reception, parking, Gym, Pool, restaurant, etc do their best to make you feel confortable. I will comeback, no doubt about that !
Natalia is a fantastic host. She is SUPER friendly and very accomodating. She is a fantastic resource for history and things to do in the area. Anyhring to .ake your stay memorable. My flight landed at 10pm and she was there to greet me with the key near midnight!
She stocked the apt with fruit, eggs, cracjers and fresh made coffee.
The apartment is very comfortable and clean. I would recommend staying here because it is close to Recoleta, Palermo and the beautiful parks that are within a 15 min walk
From the moment I arrived @1AM until I left days later, the wonderful staff made me feel welcome and safe. Each member of staff was able to provide detailed directions about all the lovely places to visit in Buenos Aires and caution about what not to wear (flashy jewelry, designer handbags, etc.) or where not to go in order to avoid unsafe situations.
The convenient location (across from the famous cemetery and adjacent to Recoleta Mall) is robust with activity, people, restaurants and nightlife.
Bed & room were very comfortable and lobby was very comfortable with a selection of food and drink available at all times. Security was excellent & it’s an easy walk to Palermo Soho, many excellent restaurants and Plaza Italia. The staff were outstanding - friendly, helpful and happy to make arrangements for us, including currency exchange delivered to the hotel after hours and a very early taxi pickup to the airport. Highly recommend Shoshana. Thank you Ezekial & team!
Perfect location. Came to understand that if you want to visit Buenos Aires and have easy access to the best restaurants and stores, you need to stay at Palermo.
Costa Rica Soho Rooms are at the core of the night life.
Close to subway stations, and with easy bus access or walking access to other regions of the city.
Amazing hosts, lovely people.
Great location in Palermo. Big comfortable bed, lots of electrical sockets and super bathroom. The breakfast was included and must be one of the best in Buenos Aires. The pool looked great but the weather was a little too cool to try . We’d recommend the nearby La Cabrera for great steaks (order the Lomo Grille cooked Jugoso (rare)).
Breakfast was one of the best we had on our 5 weeks in Argentina. A great variety of items. Our room was small but had AC and a great fan that helped keep the air moving, we slept very comfortably. Helpful & accommodating staff. And the location was great - very walkable to all shops and amenities in Palermo Soho.
Good location for a first-timer in BA, especially if you want to explore beyond the comforts of Recoleta and Palermo. Great rooftop bar for kicking back at night. Entire staff was excellent. Didn’t get everyone’s name, but Laura and Mao (sp?) in the bar and Jessie at the front desk were particularly kind and helpful.
The department was impeccable clean and spotless. The location is perfect if you wish to walk around Palermo without missing the best food and drinks around. View to the city is unreal from the balcony area, I’m glad I had the experience to trip to Buenos Aires staying here. It changed my whole experience there!
location location location right in the middle of BA with one of the best views of Buenos Aires absolute gem of a hotel with absolute brilliant and kind staff and the value for money is incredible. well worth the extra money for the upgrade to the room with balcony the rooms are massive and breakfast
Casa Joseph is in a great location in Palermo. The rooms are very spacious, modern, clean and with wonderful big windows. One of the best places were stayed in in Argentina. Gabrielle at reception was the perfect host, very friendly and helpful, and made our stay. Thank you Gabrielle.
+Convenient to Palermo, Recoleta, Barrio Norte, and waterfront. Extremely clean. Super friendly and helpful desk staff. Quiet. Spacious suite with kitchenette and comfy bed. Free use of clothes washing machine in basement. Our room 5A had a Nespresso machine :)
Staff was very kind and helped me to book a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Breakfast was very good, several options. Location is great, only 5 minutes from the Recoleta shopping mall and cemetery. Shower is great and the bed super comfortable.
Location is great. Walking distance from lots of restaurants and bars. Room was nice and clean. It's a small hotel that worked really well for spending a long weekend with my family in Buenos Aires, in which we mostly walked around Palermo.
Great boutique hotel in Palermo easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. very friendly staff lovely extras like free bbq on a Sunday and nice petit fours delivered to your room each day, the best breakfast of our whole trip.
The Grand King Hotel is located very close to the city center of Buenos Aires. I had a spacious room, good WiFi, nice bathroom and excellent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel is located in the heart of Recoleta, the neighborhood is quiet, and safe. Rooms were very clean and spacious, everyone at the hotel was very friendly and we loved it!
Great hotel in Palermo District. If I would come to Buenos Aires again I am sure I will be staying here. We really enjoyed breakfast with many choices.
