Just how wonderfully it had been restored with up to date comforts and amazing en-suite with super cool barn doors and sash windows you can open!!! We slept like babies in the bed after a lovely meal in the restaurant and woke up refreshed before having showers to our next stop - will definitely recommend to everyone and eat/stay again. El Alma Inn & Dining Rooms, situado junto al The Pier en Harwich, a 400 metros del centro de la localidad, acepta mascotas y ofrece wifi gratis y un restaurante. El alojamiento alberga un bar. The best inn I have ever stayed inn! It's a 1500s building and it is gorgeous and fascinating inside. So much to look at, lovingly and tastefully restored and preserved. See pics. Fantastic staff. I didn't use the pub / restaurant but it looked superb. I did have breakfast which was 10 out of 10, see pic. The location is in the heart of the historic old town, all the streets are narrow and quaint, I managed to find parking up the street, but the whole area wasn't designed for motor cars. Be aware that the many steep stairs are not suitable if you have mobility issues or heavy suitcases, so if that's you call them to discuss your options. See the pic of the paper they gave me to help me navigate the labyrinth! Overall the best historic property I have ever stayed in, and I have travelled a lot. Don't miss staying here!

El The Compasses, situado en la tranquila aldea de Littley Green, en el corazón de la campiña de Essex, es un pub victoriano lleno de historia y tradición. Very friendly personal and quarters to feel comfortable. We liked the existing coffee and hot chocolate powders on the desk. Especially the breakfast was funny and delicious with this nice cook :-)

Servicio, instalaciones y personal de hotel 5 estrellas. El desayuno es un English Breakfast maravilloso. Todo preparado y cada habitación con su mesa reservada y preparada.
