Loevly old part town of city, and long promenade is perfect to walk and watch sunsets. Mornarček fish house was a good place to have sea food, a bit steep price but good portions. On friday there were open air street concerts, you can feel the city vibe. The saddest thing is the city beach. Really small and of course crowded.

The sea was still cold. We went cycling and hiking. Beautiful cycle path: Parenzana. We went from Trieste to Piran. It's a shame that small engines also use it. Heated seawater thermal bath in Portoroz.

Koper is a very nice place where you can find various inns, shops, pastry shops... You can also find beautiful views and walking paths. I recommend a hike from Koper to Izola along a well-maintained walking path. It is also a very pet-friendly place, although you have to pay attention to the signs where pets are not allowed to relieve themselves.

A wonderful medieval town with so many of the original buildings (Venetian style architeture) intact. Clean and tidy except for lots of graffiti which didn't matter because it was all in Slovenian! Very little crime I was told and people seemed to leave phones cameras beside them without worrying
Everything in the old town within easy walking distance but be careful of uneven paving stones if you are a bit wobbly on your feet.
Cafe Loggia in main square good place for coffee and toasties.
Lots of fresh fish in restaurants and Slovenian traditional food too. Lots of varieties of ice cream but be aware that their "scoops" are twice as big as here.
Try the orange wine it's lovely (but not made from oranges as I thought at first). Buy "flowers of salt" made in salt pans the traditional way near Piran (another lovely town to visit nearby)
Bikes to rent (including electric) in many outlets in town.
Rebeka was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was modern and well-appointed. The gardens and the view were particularly lovely. It was a beautiful walk into Koper along the seaside. There were also places to swim in the sea very close. We also enjoyed having a TV with Netflix and YouTube to watch our favorite shows at night. We didn't take advantage, but if there were services like boat rental, SUP rental, and massages available. If we had stayed longer, we probably would have used those services.
The apartment was small but had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. It rained on our first day so we really appreciated the nifty movie channels on the TV. Bojan the host is a complete star and gave us and our luggage a lift to the bus station as it was raining again. So kind as we would have been soaked! Koper is a lovely little town, we were just unlucky with the weather.
Kitchen equipment was good, you will find everything you need (coffee machine, dishes, microwave,..) Large terrace with grill. Very good location, close to the center and near supermarkets, bank and public bus to žusterna and portorož
Tip for breakfast : Angel food - best pancakes!!
2-3 min by feet from the apartment
Good variety of breakfast food options, though some were a little tired by 9.15am. Room was a decent size and AC was new and worked very well. Balcony view of the sea and Koper, only a few rooms with this, was a nice. Parking indoors under the hotel was safe and free. Staff we very helpful and friendly.
Apartment is situated a little bit further from Koper (it is nothing with car), but just wait for the view. The apartment itself is fully equipped with two AC units. We appreciated an extra olive oil in the kitchen. Owners dogs are fantastic, very cool with kids. Hosts are nice and helpful.
Nice clean apartment in a quiet neighborhood with free parking, but it only takes a few minutes by car to the center of Koper. A well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed, an AC, good internet… Just everything you need for a pleasant stay. The host was very communicative and helpful.
The hotel is a bit old and the room looks also like old style but the breakfast was very nice, also the staffs were very friendly and helpful. We choose this hotel because of the parking - but it was a right choice for us, very close to the old centre and enjoyed the walk around.
It was my second visit to this nice and comfortable hotel. The room was great, clean, quiet with a see front view. The staff very nice and welcoming, and the food is just amazing, great choice for breakfast and fantastic dinner options. Thank you all and see you soon again
I can’t say enough about this wonderful property. It was beautifully designed and nicely functional. The location is great. Milos, the host, made sure everything was perfect and communicated with us well. I highly recommend this apartment when visiting Koper.
The apartment is very clean and in a good location, very close to the main spots in Koper. We can definitely recommend others to stay there. The host is very friendly and super helpful. She gave us a lot of tips for things to do and where to eat.
Nice, fully equipped appartment suitable for five people.
The new Žusterna beach reachable by foot, though you have to climb 60 m on the way back.
Private parking slot was provided to us, because public parking use to be full in evenings.
The house is located in Bertoki, a very nice quite place near Koper. The location was lovely and very close by car or taxi to the city Koper. The house was spacious with a large back yard. All the amenities satisfied our needs.
Everything was ok, cozy appartments near the old town centre.
25 minuts from Žusterna beach, 10 min from city beach.
Lidl, Špar markets, McDonald's from 10-15 min.
Wi-Fi is in appartments for the guests.
Thanks a lot.
Excellent place to stay at when visiting Koper. It's cozy, in a nice part of the city located near stores, city center and the beach. Also easy to locate and clear check-in instructions.
Excellent host and stay, very quiet and great views from the terrace. Easy walk into Koper for restaurants or shops. Perfect for a short getaway away from the crowds. Highly recommend!
for four star hotel named Grand Hotel room size, furniture, decoration are really low level. late check in after 3pm is another issue. Anyhow, not value for money I paid.
