Nice small town, very green, relaxing and beautiful nature. The people are so nice! Lovely view from Kostanjevitsa hill! We had dinner at Restaurant Pri Hrastu and launch at Ošterija Žogica - I can recommend both places l. There are also many small cafes and bakeries around the town. Nova Gorica is a small city but has everything a traveler needs. Getting around is easy as most things are within walking distance and the city buses are free. Two good places to eat are Fabrika, a bar and restaurant in the pedestrian center with great burgers and Gurmand, an informal place with both Slovene and Italian food. Fans of beer should visit O’Haras with its hundreds of beers. There are also a number of casinos for those who like gambling.AAnonymousEgypt - 4.0Scored 4.0

The italian Gorizia Is the interesting side of the city. You cannot realize the Slovenian Italian border , so It was interesting. The culture and historical things are in Gorizia (Italy) but the verrà , pubs are much more Better in Gorica (Slovenia)

The owner and his young and family staff are really welcoming and good people, who take care of their guests with ease and pleasure! The owner is an excellent chef as well, so having dinner at the restaurant is a real no-brainer… Pricing of rooms, food and drinks is very reasonable… So, if you want to stay in this area, you can‘t go wrong with Madonca!
