This was the cutest stay! It’s located right on a canal and in the heart of a trendy neighborhood. I worried about the noise since it’s street level, but I didn’t need to. It was a quiet stay with the fan’s white noise. It was wonderful to be two steps into the vibrant center of Amsterdam. I also needed to work, and my daughter and I both worked comfortably from the cute table.

Company info

Fabian and I live in the upper floors of the same building and we're always available for any questions or additional needs you may have. Fabian teaches music at the International School of Amsterdam and Kerry is a photographer and Iyengar Yoga teacher. We're from the opposite ends of the Americas--Fabian comes from Buenos Aires and Kerry grew up in a farm in the US.

We have been renting our little studio for years, and we've found that there is certain group of people that absolutely love it--it's location is unbeatable and having your own private space on one of the oldest canals of the city! It follows the culture of Amsterdam--it's not a luxury apartment, it's cosy, simple and just what a young couple needs to enjoy each other and to feel the charm of Old Amsterdam.

Neighborhood info

You can spend a day only walking around 1 square block of the studio and experiences almost all of Amsterdam (sorry, no red lights though!). We are just on the edge of "The 9 Little Streets" which is the most popular cool neighborhoods of Amsterdam. Boutique hotels & restaurants, cafes & coffee shops, luxury shops & second hand clothing--it's all right here! All the street photos you see on our listing are made within 1 block from your front door!
