There is almost nothing good about this hotel. The staff working here are VERY LOUD, and we heard a lot of noise in the afternoon, evening, and in the morning. We were woken up both days at 5 in the morning when the staff arrived because they were talking loud and laughing! We were so shocked by how loud it was, and since all the rooms faced each other in a courtyard, there was no way to escape the noise.
On the first day when we arrived, we checked in and took a nap because we drove 5 and a half hours from the city. A staff member came inside the room to clean even though we just checked in and the room was already clean. From that moment on we were worried about why the staff was entering our room when there was no need to.
The hotel is very outdated and the rooms are not nice at all. The restaurant is only open during the morning for breakfast and the coffee is instant coffee which is sad because Guatemala has some of the best coffee in the world.
This is not a luxury hotel as we paid $57 for each night. However, the conditions are so bad and it's not worth that price. This hotel is worth about $25 or $30 per night.
