Beautiful place, very impressed with the natural beauty which is what we were after. Excellent food and staff!! If you're looking for a 5 star hotel with all the luxuries not for you. If you want to experience about as close as you can get to Guatemala's nature and beauty and still be comfortable enjoy!!

 The place is right on the river and I had my own cabin in the trees in private, very nice. Lots of fruits for breakfast and 6:30am coffee ready daily. I did a 1/2 day tour with mangroves, hike, waterfalls and hot springs and only had one other on tour because it is quiet right now. We were only two in huge beautiful waterfall, serene. Louis, the manager, was very kind and accommodating and arranged the tour personally so I could get it all in in one day.

Great location right on the river and surrounded by forest. Very relaxing vibes. The room was in the forest which is amazing, bathroom/shower (cold water) was actually outside the room, but with privacy. Was VERY cool! Super helpful manager (Louis). Few activities in the area, can easily spend there 3-5 days min.

Gorgeous riverside location, right in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by hummingbird and beautiful garden. Our room was in a separate cabin and had a private balcony with hammock and open air bathroom. Overall such a unique and memorable stay. Lovely food cooked by chef Victor, and manager Luis was wonderful - he took excellent care of us and organised our kayaking trips to the lagoons and Livingston.

This is a very special, super relaxed place run by the incredibly friendly and well organised team - Luis and Victor. Accommodation is set next to the river in nature amongst tropical planting. Clean and comfortable. Free water. Safe river swimming. Evening meals are superb, 'Plat De Jour' set meals, delicious and different every evening of our seven nights. All food and drink is priced fairly. The meals are enjoyed together at a communal table. This creates a very welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where you can meet and chat with other travellers over dinner. This is not a party place and there's limited WiFi, but that's unnecessary as you'll be busy doing nothing, relaxing, swimming, verbally communicating and arranging to extend your stay! Explore the area by kayak. This and boat transfers can be arranged with Luis. A very special location and superb hosts. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

Right from the beginning Victor and Louis together with nice dog Baluu welcomed us at the deck. Going above and beyond during stay. Victor prepared for us amazing food and hight quality drinks in the middle of the jungle(!) Louis helped us plan next day and all the activities. The view is amazing especially for the sunset. We felt like home during our stay. Thank You very much!

We loved that place! Victor & Luis added to that small simple oasis a funny sunny family feeling. The chill areas are amazing and you can spend all day at the river, enjoy the view, have a perfect breakfast or whatever your heart desires. In the evenings there is (an optional) dinner with all guests and changing dishes of the day. The two make every meal as simple it may be exquisite. Balu (the dog) is the cutest Baywatch and keeps an eye on everyone. .
