We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment on top (5th) floor (including living room with table, 2 small couches, mini fridge and balcony with awning) which was perfect for our 5 person family (or a group of friends). Location was excellent, centrally located on a quiet side street just a few min walk from beautiful historic Marienplatz. Lots of shops, attractions, and restaurants around including nice Italian place across the street. Walked to bakery most mornings for breakfast. Room was quiet, comfortable and spacious… appears to be recently updated. Vending in lobby had a variety of snacks and drinks. Housekeeping every day (unless you decline). Not far from huge English garden park and Viktualien market. There is a great app for the hotel that has helpful info. Felt like we had our own “place” in Munich.. was sad to leave. Would for sure stay here again.

This hotel is located on the elegant Maximilianstraße in the historic part of Munich. It is just a 5-minute walk from Marienplatz square. Hotel Falkenturm offers a flat-screen TV in each room. All rooms are air-conditioned. All of Munich’s key tourist attractions are within easy walking distance of the hotel. Visit a spectacular show in the nearby National Theater or the Bavarian State Opera House. Treat yourself to a whole variety of international delicacies or traditional Bavarian cuisine, in one of the charming cafes nearby. Marienplatz station offers a direct public transport connection to Munich Central Station (all trains) and Munich Airport (S8 and S1).
