Peaceful, relaxing location with lots of space to wander and explore. Breakfast by the pool looking out at the view was the perfect way to start the day. The host was fantastic. He was very informative and happy to answer any questions about the area and history of the property.

Fantastisk omgivning och gården var helt underbar. Blev hämtad av Antonio vid tåget och möttes av familjen som äger stället. Poolen superfin och kunde lätt köpa lite öl och tilltugg när vi kom fram . Rummet väldigt enkelt men rent och stort . Helt otroligt bra frukost med omelett , ostar, skinkor, brushetta med tomat och guacamole, hemmagjorda marmelader mm. Vi kan inget annat än rekommendera denna pärla. Orvieto är fint och inte fyllt med turister. En kort men väldigt brant promenad upp från gården . Går att åka bil annars. Åt middag en kväll på gården bredvid - fantastisk mat med galet vacker utsikt ..

As a getaway, Misia likely has few equals. Giorgio appears to treat all his guests like family and is unselfish with his time. We can away refreshed and happy, vowing to return in May when the bloom and perfume of more than 500 rose bushes will greet us.

Good location, close to Orvieto but away from the busyness for the town. Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Superb pool. It’s our second stay and we will go back :-)

Casale di Romaella is a dream holiday destination, in fact it has all the required features: from its ideal location (out of the way but not far from stores or historical places), the excellent staff (Patrizio and Jacopo fulfilled all the guest's expectations, in fact we felt like we were on vacation with family). The house is clean and well-equipped, it is also rare to have such a huge area where each guest can find his own corner and relax freely. The only disadvantage is that the pool is a bit cold (from 26 to 28 degrees Celsius) which, given the winds in Umbria, makes it impossible to swim after dark (the owner informed us that he was going to install solar panels to heat the water). The whole area of the property was carefully cleaned every day (discreetly at dawn), and some mornings there were wines on the table as a gift. We can wholeheartedly recommend this location as a reliable and worthy visit. It is well worth the price.

Both our host and hostess was outstandingly kind and helpful. The double story cottage is located in their bucolic vineyard and equipped with everything a visitor would want. In addition the cottage has an extensive collection of musical CDs as well as a library covering the history of the area. We were left to enjoy the vineyard and cottage but we chose to walk up to the town regularly as we enjoyed the exercise however some may prefer to hire a car to visit this location which worked well for us without a vehicle.

beautiful renovated villa, wonderful design and amenities, all new and very comfortable but with a classic traditional style, quiet, sweet animals on the property too. perfectly positioned to visit Orvieto. Lorenzo was a very welcoming host. Even provided a little coffee and breakfast which wasn’t included in the booking.
