Located in Puerto Maldonado, La Fauna Hotel features a bar, garden, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. The owner Cecilia was super nice, a street dog bite me, and she without hesitate not even a second .offered herself to take me to the emergency room, the the staff there didn't want to take care of me, then she took me.to another place, spending a lot of her time waiting for someone to clean the wound. The hostel is well decorated.and all staff.are.very nice. I will definitely came back. Thanks Cecilia!!

Rosa's House is an amazing place just outside the city of Puerto Maldonado. Rosa and Elvis make you feel at home and they have a very affectionate dog (Kira). My Spanish is not great but it is nice to practice it here because they are very patient. The food that Rosa cooks is local and tastes great. Their garden borders the jungle and Elvis gave us a nighttour twice. We saw tarantula's, snakes and porcupines. I am so happy that we stayed here and I would recommend this place to anyone!

Tambopata Hostel is located in Puerto Maldonado. An American breakfast and free WiFi access are provided. The breakfast was delicious, you could eat as much as you want, and the rooms were very comfortable, there were some mosquitoes though, but I think it's because it's the rainy season. The staff was great!
