This tour will take you on a journey through the historic wine region of eastern Slovenia, visiting two famous cities and culminating in a wine tasting session.
Starting from Bled, you will pass beautiful landscapes as you make your way to the riverside city of Maribor – the second-largest in the country. Your guide will lead you down the winding streets of Lent, which is the city's oldest area, and point out famous landmarks and attractions such as the world's oldest grapevine.
The tour will continue to Ptuj – believed to be the oldest town in Slovenia – where you'll get to see iconic spots such as the hilltop Ptuj Castle. You can round off your tour with a visit to a local wine cellar to understand the wine-making process and sample some of the best wines of the region.
