On this small-group excursion, you'll explore the highlights of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. From your hotel or meeting point in Reykjavík, the tour will take you to see Kirkjufell, a narrow mountain that has served as a popular landmark and is one of the most photographed places in the region.
Afterwards, you'll visit the breathtaking Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall before heading to the south coast to see a village with a hotel and a small black church called Búdakirkja, nestled on a lava rock field. Next will be a fishing village with stunning coastal cliffs formed by glowing magma hitting wild Atlantic waves.
You'll also see the black beach of Djúpalónsandur, the village of Arnarstapi and a volcanic crater formed over 4,000 years ago. By the end of your tour, the vehicle will take you back to your starting point.
