Medina Azahara is an archaeological site in the outskirts of Córdoba that contains the remains of an ancient palace-city, built as the Caliphate of Córdoba’s seat of government.
Led by a professional guide, you will get to explore the whole complex, including the Caliph’s palace, while you learn about the history of the citadel. Next, you will be transferred by shuttle bus to the Interpretation Center, a museum that houses a collection of the main pieces found at the archaeological site.
